Sending in a contribution:
If you want to offer us a contribution you should consider which of our categories you are writing for: Literature, Politics, Culture, Poetry or Short Stories.
The Tree Tap is a publication centred around literature, which naturally means its scope is very broad as literature itself is very broad. Thus, we want writers who have a knack for biting social commentary, fluid storytelling, sharp wittiness, and whom are very well-read across the board.
We don’t have any particular constraints over what you should/can write – you are free to express your views as you wish. We merely demand your freedom of thought and expression to be well articulated, well researched, and well presented.
If this sounds of interest to you we encourage you to send your CV and any pieces of showcase writing to:
Make sure you title the subject of your email as “Prospective Contributor –*insert name/date*.”
A member of the team will always review your proposed contribution, and regardless of the outcome, whether accepted or refused, you will always be informed.
If your contribution is deemed successful by pulling readers and generating traffic, you may be offered a place to become an established contributor on TheTreeTap where you will earn payment for your work.
We publish contributions from all freelances on our standard copyright terms.
